On 1 January 2014 the former municipalities of Aetigkofen, Tscheppach, Brügglen, Aetingen, Bibern, Gossliwil, Hessigkofen, Mühledorf, Küttigkofen, Kyburg-Buchegg merged into the new municipality of Buchegg.
