Rawson is the capital of the Argentine province of Chubut, in Patagonia. It has 24,616 inhabitants in 2010, and it is the chief town of the Rawson Department. Rawson is situated 8 km southeast of Chacra 63.

Trelew is a city in eastern Patagonia, founded by settlers from Wales and located southwest of Puerto Madryn, about 20 km from the Atlantic coast. With about 100,000 inhabitants, it is the second town by population in Argentina's Chubut province.
