Ġgantija is a megalithic temple complex from the Neolithic era, on the Mediterranean island of Gozo in Malta. The Ġgantija temples are the earliest of the Megalithic Temples of Malta and are older than the pyramids of Egypt. Ġgantija is situated 2 km south of Il-Pergla - Masri.

Marsalforn, also written as M'Forn for shortcut purposes, is a town on the north coast of Gozo, the second largest island of the Maltese archipelago. The town lies between the hilltop towns of Xagħra and Żebbuġ.

Xagħra is in Gozo. It's an attractive village of 4,900 people that houses the Ġgantija temples, and is a 5-minute drive or a 30-minute walk to Ramla i Hamra beach and to Rabat, so if you don't have too much time to explore the island, this is a good place to use as a base.
