Hoogelande is a small hamlet in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is located in the municipality of Veere, about 4 km northwest of Middelburg. Hoogelande was a separate municipality until 1816, when it was annexed by Grijpskerke.

Middelburg Town Hall is situated at the market of Middelburg, Zeeland. It is considered one of the finest Gothic buildings in the Netherlands. Construction began in 1452 and was supervised by several generations of the Flemish family of architects Keldermans. Middelburg Town Hall is situated 3½ km east of Kapel van St Maarten.
