New Bridge

The New Bridge is a steel truss bridge crossing the Ibar river in Mitrovica, Kosovo, connecting South Mitrovica and North Mitrovica. The New Bridge has become an iconic symbol of Kosovo's division, as it separates around 80,000 Kosovo Albanians in the south from around 50 000 Serbs and other nationalities living in the north. New Bridge is situated 350 metres south of Capital Ria.

The Church of St. Demetrius is the church of the Serbian Orthodox Church, owned by the Rasko-Prizren diocese, in the city of Mitrovica, Kosovo. After NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, Mitrovica was divided into northern and southern parts. Church of Saint Demetrius is situated 280 metres west of Capital Ria.
