The West Pier is a ruined pier in Brighton, England. Designed by Eugenius Birch and opening in 1866, the West End Pier, as it was originally known, was the first pier to be Grade I listed in England but has become increasingly derelict since its closure to the public in 1975. West Pier is situated 980 feet south of Brighton Beach Hut.

Regency Square is a large early 19th-century residential development on the seafront in Brighton, part of the British city of Brighton and Hove. Conceived by speculative developer Joshua Hanson as Brighton underwent its rapid transformation into a fashionable resort, the three-sided "set piece" of 69 houses and associated structures was built between 1818 and 1832. Regency Square is situated 660 feet northeast of Brighton Beach Hut.
