Children's Fairyland, U.S.A. is an amusement park, located in Oakland, California, on the shores of Lake Merritt. It was one of the earliest "themed" amusement parks in the United States. Children’s Fairyland is situated 860 feet northwest of Japanese Gardens.

Camron-Stanford House

The Camron-Stanford House is the last of the 19th-century Victorian mansions that once surrounded Lake Merritt in Oakland, California. It was the home to a series of influential families, and in 1907, became the city's first museum. Camron-Stanford House is situated 2,300 feet southwest of Japanese Gardens.
