The Icelandic Phallological Museum

Hegningarhúsið at Skólavörðustígur 9 in Reykjavík was a prison run by the Icelandic Prison Service. Built in 1872 by the designs of G. Ch. W. Klentz, it was the oldest prison in Iceland. Hegningarhúsið is situated 200 metres northwest of Njálsborg.

The National Theatre of Iceland in Reykjavík, is the national theatre of Iceland. The theater, designed by Guðjón Samúelsson, was formally opened on 20 April 1950. Since 2020, the artistic director of The National Theatre is Magnús Geir Þórðarsson. National Theater is situated 350 metres northwest of Njálsborg.
