The İzmit Clock Tower in İzmit, Turkey is one of many clock towers that were built throughout the Ottoman Empire as a result of the decree which was sent to the provincial governors to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Sultan Abdülhamid II's ascension to the Ottoman throne.

Izmit station is a railway station on the Istanbul-Ankara railway and is the main station in Izmit, Turkey. The station is located on the shore of the Izmit Bay next to the D100 and at the western end of Cumhuriyet avenue. İzmit railway station is situated 200 metres southwest of İzmit Saat Kulesi.

USS Eversole was a Gearing-class destroyer of the United States Navy, the second Navy ship named for Lieutenant John T. Eversole, a naval aviator who was killed in the Battle of Midway. USS Eversole is situated 380 metres southwest of İzmit Saat Kulesi.
