Fort Tas-Silġ

Fort Tas-Silġ is a polygonal fort in Marsaxlokk, Malta. It was built between 1879 and 1883 by the British on high ground at the shoreward end of Delimara Point, above il-Ħofra-ż-Żgħira.

Tas-Silġ is a rounded hilltop on the southeast coast of the island of Malta overlooking Marsaxlokk Bay and close to the town of Żejtun. Tas-Silġ is a major multi-period sanctuary site with archaeological remains covering 4000 years, from the Neolithic to the ninth century.

Wolseley Battery

Wolseley Battery is an artillery battery in Delimara, Marsaxlokk, Malta. It was built by the British between 1897 and 1899, and is located close to Fort Tas-Silġ. Today, the battery still exists, but it is not accessible to the public.

Marsaskala, also known as Wied il-Għajn or Marsascala and abbreviated as M'Skala or M'Scala is a seaside town in the Southern Region of Malta. Originally a fishing village, it has grown into a tourist destination and a permanent hometown for an ever-growing population. Marsaskala is situated 2½ km north of L-Imsewweb.
