The Royal Opera of Versailles is the main theatre and opera house of the Palace of Versailles. Designed by Ange-Jacques Gabriel, it is also known as the Théâtre Gabriel.
Hall of Crusades

The Salles des Croisades is a set of rooms located in the north wing of the Palace of Versailles. The rooms were created in the mid-19th century by King Louis-Philippe for his museum of French history, and opened in 1843, at a time when France was seized with enthusiasm with its historical past, and especially the Crusades period. Hall of Crusades is situated 130 metres southeast of Poème satyrique.

The grand appartement du roi is the King's grand apartment of the Palace of Versailles. As a result of Louis Le Vau's envelope of Louis XIII’s château, constructed as part of Louis XIV's second building campaign, the King and Queen had new apartments in the new addition, known at the time as the château neuf.
