Slim River is a town in Muallim District, Perak, Malaysia. It is situated in the southern part of Perak and is 20 kilometres of Tanjung Malim, and around 5.5 kilometres from the state border with Selangor across the Bernam River. Slim River is situated 7 km southwest of Kampung Gapis.

Trolak is a small estate town in Mukim Slim, Muallim District, Perak, Malaysia. It houses many FELDA explorers since circa 1960s with a rubber plantation, later changed into an oil palm plantation. Trolak is situated 8 km west of Kampung Gapis.
