Milliarium

A miliarium was a cylindrical, oval or parallelepiped column placed on the edge of Roman roads to mark the distances every thousand passus, that is, every mile.

Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof is a railway station for the city of , the state capital of the state of . It is a terminal station at the southern edge of the city centre and is used by more than 40,000 travelers each day, so it is the second largest station in Hesse after Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. is situated 320 metres southeast of Milliarium.
