Falmer Stadium, currently known as the American Express Stadium for sponsorship reasons and more commonly referred to as the Amex, is a football stadium in Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, England. AmEx Stadium is situated 2½ miles northwest of Standean Bottom.

Woodingdean Water Well

The Woodingdean Water Well is the deepest hand-dug well in the world, at 390 metres deep. It was dug to provide water for a workhouse. Work on the well started in 1858, and was finished four years later, on 16 March 1862.
