The al-Hussein Mosque is a mosque and mausoleum, located near the Khan el-Khalili bazaar in Cairo, Egypt. Containing the tomb of Husayn ibn Ali that was originally built in 1154, the mosque and mausoleum were reconstructed in 1874. Hussein Mosque is situated 280 metres south of masjid Maḥmūd Muḥarram.

The Beshtak Palace or Qasr Bashtak is a historic palace and museum in Cairo, Egypt, built in the 14th century by the Mamluk amir Sayf al-Din Bashtak al-Nasiri. It is located on Shari'a al-Mu'izz, in the area known as Bayn al-Qasrayn. Beshtak Palace is situated 170 metres west of masjid Maḥmūd Muḥarram.
