Pinto Battery, also known as Għżira Battery or Kechakara Battery, is a former artillery battery in Birżebbuġa, Malta. It was built by the Order of Saint John in 1715 and 1716 as one of a series of coastal fortifications around the coasts of the Maltese Islands. Pinto Battery is situated 100 metres northeast of Birżebbuġa - Sabiħa.

Għar Dalam is a 144-metre long phreatic tube and cave, located in the outskirts of Birżebbuġa, Malta. The cave contains the bones of animals that lived on Malta during the Pleistocene and Holocene epochs. Għar Dalam is situated 1¼ km north of Birżebbuġa - Sabiħa.

Birżebbuġa is a seaside town in the Southern Region of Malta, close to Marsaxlokk. It is approximately 13 kilometres from the capital Valletta, and has a population of 9,736 as of March 2014.
