Guardasone Castle is a medieval manor house that stands on the eastern slope of Mount Lugolo, in Ariana di Guardasone, a hamlet of Traversetolo, in the province of Parma; the ruins of the ancient watchtower, known as “Guardiola,” are also located on the summit. Guardasone Castle is situated 2½ km east of Gabbiola.
