The Gare de l'Est, officially Paris-Est, is one of the seven large mainline railway station termini in Paris, France. It is located in the 10th arrondissement, approximately 270 meters southeast from the Gare du Nord, facing the Boulevard de Strasbourg, part of the north–south axis of Paris created by Georges-Eugène Haussmann. Gare de Paris-Est is situated 570 metres northeast of Au Cadran du Faubourg.

The Musée des Arts et Métiers is an industrial design museum in Paris that houses the collection of the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers, which was founded in 1794 as a repository for the preservation of scientific instruments and inventions. Museum of Arts et Métiers is situated 790 metres south of Au Cadran du Faubourg.
