El Oso is a municipality in the Spanish province of Ávila, in the autonomous community of Castile-Leon. The village takes its name from a megalithic monument outside the church.

Gotarrendura is a municipality located in the province of Ávila, Castile and León, Spain. The parents of St. Teresa of Ávila married in the village and it has been suggested that the saint was born there. Gotarrendura is situated 3 km southeast of Bar Teo.
