Located on the lower Snake River in southeast Washington, it bridges Franklin and Walla Walla counties; it is six miles south of Kahlotus and 43 miles north of Walla Walla. Lower Monumental Dam is situated 1,300 feet north of Lower Monumental Lock and Dam.
