Clinton is a locality in the Australian state of South Australia located on the east coast of Yorke Peninsula overlooking the north west head of Gulf St Vincent about 101 kilometres west of the state capital of Adelaide and about 36 kilometres north-east of the municipal seat of Maitland. Clinton is situated 9 km southwest of Port Arthur Rest Area.
