Chandeshwori Temple, located in Banepa approximately 25 kilometers east of central Kathmandu, is a three-tiered temple, which was last rebuilt in the 17th century. Chandeshwori Temple is situated 2½ km north of Khadpu.

Panauti is a municipality in Kavrepalanchok District in Bagmati Province of Nepal 32 km southeast of the capital, Kathmandu. A medieval architectural complex there was nominated by the Nepalese government as a UNESCO tentative site in 1996. Panauti is situated 3½ km southwest of Khadpu.
