Vrutok Hydro Power Plant is a large power plant in North Macedonia that has four turbines with a nominal capacity of 49 MVA each having a total capacity of 162 MW. HPP Vrutok is situated 760 metres north of Vardar.

Gostivar is a town in the Western North Macedonia. It is the second-largest city of the Polog region, beneath the Šar Mountain range. The Municipality of Gostivar has over 80,000 residents, of which under half live in the city of Gostivar.
