The Arg is the presidential palace of Afghanistan, located in Kabul. Since the 2021 abolition of the Afghan presidency by the Taliban, it has served as the meeting place of the Cabinet of Afghanistan. Arg is situated 710 metres west of Independence Column.

Ghazi Stadium, also known as Kabul Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium located southeast of the Shahr-e Naw neighborhood in Kabul, Afghanistan, across from Chaman-e-Hozori and Eidgah Mosque. Ghazi Stadium is situated 770 metres southeast of Independence Column.

The Eidgah Mosque; also spelled as the Id Gah Mosque, is a Sunni mosque located in Kabul, Afghanistan. It is located to the southeast of the affluent Wazir Akbar Khan neighborhood, near the Ghazi Stadium and Chaman-e-Hozori. Eidgah Mosque is situated 540 metres southeast of Independence Column.
