Colin Maiden Park

Colin Maiden Park is a New Zealand sports complex in the Auckland suburb of Glen Innes, about 10 kilometres south-east of the Auckland CBD. It is named in honour of Sir Colin Maiden, vice-chancellor of the University of Auckland from 1971 to 1994. Colin Maiden Park is situated 260 metres northwest of Tamaki Campus.

Purchas Hill is one of the volcanoes in the Auckland volcanic field. Purchas Hill was a twin-cratered scoria cone around 50 metres high, located north of Maungarei / Mount Wellington, before it was predominantly quarried away.
