Located near Federation Square and St Paul's Cathedral, it is the busiest railway station in Victoria, serving the entire electrified metropolitan rail network, 15 tram routes travelling to and from the city, and V/Line services to Gippsland. Flinders Street Station is situated 280 metres east of Cuff.

Opened in 1998 as a division of Museums Victoria, Immigration Museum is located at the restored Customs House building on Flinders Street, in the city centre of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Immigration Museum is situated 310 metres southwest of Cuff.
