The Gare du Nord, officially Paris-Nord, is one of the seven large mainline railway station termini in Paris, France. The station is served by trains that run between the capital and northern France via the Paris–Lille railway, as well as to international destinations in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Paris Nord is situated 590 metres south of La Goutte Rouge.

Lariboisière Hospital is a hospital in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, France. The hospital was one of several built following the second cholera pandemic, which had reached Paris in 1832, and which led to a new emphasis on hygienic practices in hospitals. Lariboisière Hospital is situated 300 metres south of La Goutte Rouge.
