Reopened in 1990 by Zygmunt Dyrkacz, a Polish immigrant, the theater has become a significant cultural hub known for its eclectic programming and commitment to avant-garde and experimental performances. The Home Bank and Trust Company is a historic bank building at 1200 N. Ashland Avenue in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The bank was organized in 1911 to serve the surrounding neighborhood, which was expanding as transportation to downtown Chicago improved.
