Mount Nantai is a stratovolcano in the Nikkō National Park in Tochigi Prefecture, in central Honshū, the main island of Japan. The mountain is 2,486 metres high. Mount Nantai is situated 3½ km east of 竜頭ノ滝.

Senjōgahara is a four-square-kilometre area in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, in the city of Nikkō. It is 1,400 metres above sea-level. Senjōgahara can be translated as "battlefield", referring to a mythical tale of the gods of Mount Nantai and Mount Akagi fighting for control of Lake Chūzenji.
