Bignor Hill

Bignor Hill is a hill near Bignor in Sussex. The South Downs Way passes over the hill. Near the summit are the remains of a memorial to Toby Wentworth-Fitzwilliam, the secretary of the Cowdray Hounds; this is called Toby's Stone. Bignor Hill is situated 1½ miles northeast of Great Down.

Slindon is a mostly rural village and civil parish in the Arun District of West Sussex, England, containing a developed nucleus amid woodland. Much of Slindon's woodland belongs to the National Trust on the southern edge of the escarpment of the South Downs National Park. Slindon is situated 1½ miles south of Great Down.

Walberton is a village and civil parish in the Arun District of West Sussex, England, 5 miles north-west of Littlehampton, and south of the A27 road. The land rises from 33–115 feet above sea level, a quarter of the height of Nore Hill, the nearest foothill of the South Downs, which is to the north of the parish. Binsted is situated 3 miles south of Great Down.
