Slapewath
Slapewath is a hamlet in the borough of Redcar and Cleveland and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England. Whilst the name of the hamlet is recorded as far back as the 13th century, it was developed due to the alum and ironstone industries of the North-Eastern part of Yorkshire in the 16th and 19th centuries respectively.Photo: Trish Steel, CC BY-SA 2.0.

Prior Pursglove and Stockton Sixth Form College is a sixth form college with sites in Guisborough and Stockton-on-Tees. The college is a result of a merger between Prior Pursglove College and Stockton Sixth Form College in May 2016. Prior Pursglove and Stockton Sixth Form College is situated 1½ miles west of Slapewath.

Gisborough Hall is a 19th-century mansion house, now a hotel, at Guisborough, Redcar and Cleveland, England. It is a Grade II listed building. The manor of Gisborough and the site of the dissolved Priory of Gisborough were acquired after the Dissolution of the Monasteries by Sir Thomas Chaloner in about 1558.
