Isle of Wight Steam Railway

The Isle of Wight Steam Railway is a heritage railway on the Isle of Wight. The railway passes through 5+1⁄2 miles of countryside from Smallbrook Junction to Wootton station, passing through the small village of Havenstreet, where the line has a station, headquarters and a depot.

Amazon World Zoo Park

Amazon World Zoo Park is a medium-sized zoo located in Newchurch, on the outskirts of Sandown, Isle of Wight. It became a charity in 2024, adopting the name Amazon Rainforest Conservation Centre.

Arreton Down

Arreton Down is a chalk hill in the central part of the Isle of Wight in southern England. It is public access land, with 29.77 hectares designated as a biological Site of Special Scientific Interest and 19 hectares managed as a nature reserve by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.

Wootton Bridge lies on the northeast coast of the Isle of Wight, and is situated almost midway between the island’s historical capital of Newport and the Victorian gateway of Ryde.

Newport is the county town of the Isle of Wight. It is in the centre of the island on the River Medina. It is the second largest town on the island, with a population of 24,000, slightly fewer than Ryde.

Sandown is a seaside resort and civil parish on the south-east coast of the Isle of Wight, England. The neighbouring resort of Shanklin and the settlement of Lake are sited just to the south of the town.
