Rheinhausen Ost station

Rheinhausen Ost is a station designated as a Haltepunkt in the Duisburg suburb of Rheinhausen in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It was built in 1907 after the commissioning of the Rheinhausen–Kleve railway on the left bank of the Lower Rhine for workers of the Krupp’s steel works.

Rheinhausen station is located in the Duisburg suburb of Rheinhausen in the Lower Rhine region of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It lies on the Duisburg-Ruhrort–Mönchengladbach railway and is the starting point of the Lower Rhine Railway towards Xanten. Rheinhausen station is situated 1½ km southwest of Rheinhausen Ost station.

The Duisburg–Hochfeld railway bridge spans the Rhine in the German city of Duisburg on the Duisburg-Ruhrort–Mönchengladbach line. The first bridge was built by the Rhenish Railway Company and put into operation at the end of 1873. Duisburg-Hochfeld Railway Bridge is situated 1½ km northeast of Rheinhausen Ost station.
