Tresco Priory is a former monastic settlement on Tresco, Isles of Scilly founded in 946 AD. It was re-founded as the Priory of St Nicholas by monks from Tavistock Abbey in 1114. St. Nicholas Priory Ruins is situated 940 feet west of Paddy’s Island.

The heliport was served by a scheduled helicopter service from 1983 to 2012, and since 2020 a new scheduled service now operates from the new Penzance Heliport. Tresco Heliport is situated 1,100 feet southwest of Paddy’s Island.
