Farne Islands

The Farne Islands are a wildlife reserve off the coast of Northumberland in northeast England, with no permanent residents. They're owned by the National Trust and visited by boat trips from Seahouses.

Bamburgh Castle

Bamburgh Castle, on the northeast coast of England, by the village of Bamburgh in Northumberland, is a Grade I listed building. The site was originally the location of a Celtic Brittonic fort known as Din Guarie and may have been the capital of the kingdom of Bernicia from its foundation c. Bamburgh Castle is situated 2 miles southwest of Elbow.

Farne Lighthouse

Farne Lighthouse is a lighthouse on the southern tip of Inner Farne. Built in the early 19th century, it still functions as a lighthouse and is managed by Trinity House. In 1910 it was one of the first Trinity House lighthouses to be automated.

Bamburgh is a village and civil parish on the coast of Northumberland, England. It had a population of 454 in 2001, decreasing to 414 at the 2011 census. Bamburgh is situated 2½ miles southwest of Elbow.

Burton is a hamlet in the civil parish of Bamburgh, in the county of Northumberland, England. It is situated to the south of the village of Bamburgh, a short distance inland from the North Sea coast. Burton is situated 3½ miles southwest of Elbow.

Seahouses

Seahouses is a small town on the Northumberland coast, with a population of 1700 in 2021. Fishing vessels work from its harbour, which is also the start point for trips to the Farne Islands.
