Fontana del Bacchino

Fontana del Bacchino is an Italian Renaissance sculpture of 1560 by Valerio Cioli in the Boboli Gardens in Florence featuring a statue in the likeness of the famed dwarf buffoon from the court of Cosimo I de' Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany, Nano Morgante modeled after Bacchus and riding a tortoise.

The Vasari Corridor is a 16th-century elevated enclosed passageway in Florence, connecting the Palazzo Vecchio with the Palazzo Pitti. It was designed by, and named for, architect Giorgio Vasari to allow Duke Cosimo I de' Medici to move undisturbed between both palaces. Vasari Corridor is situated 270 metres northeast of Fontana del Bacchino.
