Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak

The Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak is a vaulted-brickwork "beehive" tomb that is located near the town of Kazanlak in central Bulgaria. The tomb is part of a large royal Thracian necropolis in the Valley of the Thracian Rulers near their ancient capital of Seuthopolis in a region where more than a thousand tombs of royalty and members of the Thracian aristocracy can be found. Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak is situated 1 km north of РПУ Казанлък.

Kazanlak is a city in Central Bulgaria, in a valley south of the Balkan Mountains, on the road to the historic Shipka Pass. It's famous as the center of Bulgaria's rose oil industry, and the surrounding area abounds with ancient tombs, one of which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
