Chambarak is a town and capital of the Chambarak Municipality of the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia. The current Chambarak town was formed by amalgamation of three settlements: Krasnoselsk, Lower Chambarak and Upper Chambarak. Chambarak is situated 4½ km northwest of Vahan.

Artanish is a village in the Shoghakat Municipality of the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia. On a hill just to the west are the ruins of cyclopean fortresses, and nearby is a church and a cemetery. Artanish is situated 9 km south of Vahan.
