Caishikou

The Niujie Mosque, also known as the Oxen Street House of Worship, or the Oxen Street Mosque, is the oldest mosque in Beijing, China. It was built in 996 CE during the Liao dynasty, destroyed during the Mongol conquest of China, was rebuilt during the 15th century, and was reconstructed and enlarged during the 17th century, under the Kangxi Emperor of the Qing dynasty. Niujie Mosque is situated 1 km southwest of Caishikou.

The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, colloquially known as the Xuanwumen church or Nantang to the locals, is a historic Catholic church located in the Beijing, China, Xicheng District, near the Beijing Financial Street. Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Xianwumen is situated 1¼ km north of Caishikou.

Chunshu Subdistrict is a subdistrict on the southeastern portion of Xicheng District, Beijing, China. As of 2020, its total population is 27,417. The subdistrict got its current name due to its abundance of Chinese mahogany in the area, which were already present during the Ming dynasty.
