Alhambra-Maurice Chevalier

The Alhambra-Maurice Chevalier was a music hall located at 50, rue de Malte in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. It opened on August 11, 1866, and after a long history, and many name changes, was finally demolished in 1967.

The Musée des Arts et Métiers is an industrial design museum in Paris that houses the collection of the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers, which was founded in 1794 as a repository for the preservation of scientific instruments and inventions. Museum of Arts et Métiers is situated 750 metres southwest of Alhambra-Maurice Chevalier.

Saint-Martin-des-Champs

Saint-Martin-des-Champs is a Roman Catholic Church located at 36 rue Albert-Thomas in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. It was built during the French Second Empire of Louis-Napoleon between 1854 and 1856, a blend of Romanesque architecture and Byzantine architecture, which was very popular in the period.

The 10th arrondissement of Paris centres on the Canal Saint Martin and the restaurants and cafés which line its banks. Part sleepy faubourg — as suburbs were called in 18th century Paris — and part industrial centre, the 10th arrondissement has lately enjoyed the benefits of both the booming nightlife scene in the neighbouring 11th, as well as the Parisian cycling and roller-blading boom.

A quieter part of the ancient Marais neighbourhood which is centred in the 4th, the 3rd is possibly one of the best places to live in Paris. There are several good open air markets and lots of great local designer clothing stores.
