Tosson Hill

Tosson Hill is the highest hill in the Simonside Hills to the south of Rothbury in Northumberland, England. The summit lies about 2 kilometres west of Simonside, the best-known summit of the Simonside Hills. Tosson Hill is situated 1½ miles east of Sandy Crags.

Hepple is a small village and parish in rural Northumberland, 4 miles west of Rothbury, which provides most of its local services. It is on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, and lies on the bank of the river Coquet, at a location which was on the Coquet Stop Line, of which a pillbox remains. Hepple is situated 2 miles north of Sandy Crags.

Elsdon is a village and civil parish in the English county of Northumberland about 10 miles to the southwest of Rothbury. The name is derived from the Old English meaning Elli's valley. Elsdon is situated 3½ miles southwest of Sandy Crags.

Holystone is a small village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Harbottle, in Northumberland, England. It lies on the edge of the Northumberland National Park on the north bank of the River Coquet. Holystone is situated 3½ miles northwest of Sandy Crags.
