Snorralaug is a spring, which is situated 120 metres southwest of Skrifla.

Snorrastofa is an independent research centre established in 1995 in Reykholt in West Iceland. The centre was the main residence of Snorri Sturluson. Its main task is to instigate and conduct research on the medieval period in general, and Snorri and his works in particular. Snorrastofa is situated 200 metres west of Skrifla.

Reykholt is a village in Iceland. It sits in the valley of the river Reykjadalsá, called Reykholtsdalur, and is part of Borgarfjörður, Western Region. Reykholt was at one time one of the intellectual centers of the island and had for many years one of the most important schools of the country.
