Matadero Madrid is the site of a former slaughterhouse, the El Matadero y Mercado Municipal de Ganados in the Arganzuela district of Madrid. Today, it is a contemporary arts centre. Matadero Madrid is situated 120 metres west of Cineteca.

Legazpi is a station on Line 3 and Line 6 of the Madrid Metro, serving the Legazpi barrio. It is located in Zone A. Carlos Palomino was murdered at the station in 2007. Legazpi is situated 120 metres east of Cineteca.

The Medialab Matadero, formerly known as Medialab Prado, is a cultural space and citizen lab in Madrid. It was created by the Madrid City Council in 2000, growing since then into a leading center for citizen innovation. Medialab Matadero is situated 160 metres northwest of Cineteca.
