Mount Tennent is a mountain with an elevation of 1,375 metres AHD in the southern part of the Australian Capital Territory in Australia. The Gudgenby River flows at the base of the mountain. Mount Tennent is situated 2½ km south of Mt Tennent Hut.

Tharwa Bridge is a four span Allan truss bridge that provides a high-level crossing point across the Murrumbidgee River, allowing traffic between Canberra and Tharwa village. It is the oldest surviving bridge in the Australian Capital Territory. Tharwa Bridge is situated 2½ km northeast of Mt Tennent Hut.
