Damen station

Damen is a rapid transit station on the Chicago "L", currently serving the O'Hare branch of its Blue Line. Opened on May 6, 1895, as Robey, it is the oldest station on the Blue Line and one of the few surviving stations originally built for the Metropolitan West Side Elevated Railroad. Damen station is situated 850 feet south of Steven Alan.

The Robey is a 12-story Art Deco hotel at the corner of North Avenue and Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park, Chicago. It was designed by Perkins, Chatten & Hammond and built between 1928 and 1929. The Robey is situated 600 feet south of Steven Alan.
