The Wasp Islands are a group of small islands in the San Juan Islands of the U.S. state of Washington. The name was given by Charles Wilkes during the Wilkes Expedition of 1838–1842, in honor of the sloop Wasp, a sloop of war commanded by Johnathan Blakeley during the War of 1812. Wasp Islands is situated 2 miles southeast of Jones Island North Camp.
O’Neal Island

O'Neal Island is a small island in the San Juan Islands of the U.S. state of Washington. It lies off the northeastern coast of San Juan Island. The name was given by Charles Wilkes during the Wilkes Expedition of 1838–1842, in honor of an American naval hero. O’Neal Island is situated 2 miles southwest of Jones Island North Camp.
