Glenties is a town in the west of County Donegal, which as its name suggests is at the confluence of two scenic glens. In 2022 it was home to more than 900 people. Also described here are Ardara and the beach resort area around Portnoo and Naran. Ardara is situated 3½ km east of Meenload.
