Pinamar is an Argentine resort city of the Atlantic Coast in Buenos Aires Province. It has about 45,000 inhabitants. Located less than 400 km south of Buenos Aires, it is one of several small seaside communities that line the coast.

Ostende is a seaside resort on the Argentine Atlantic Coast belonging to the Pinamar Partido. The town limits to the north with the city of Pinamar, to the northeast with Mar de Ostende, to the south with Valeria del Mar, to the east with the Argentine Sea and to the west with General Madariaga Partido. Ostende is situated 2½ km southwest of Casa de Verano.
