The Church of St Mary the Virgin, Nash is the parish church of the village of Nash, situated about 2 miles south of the city of Newport, Wales. Described as "the cathedral of the moors" by Monmouthshire historian Fred Hando, the large church is medieval in origin, with additions and restorations dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. St Mary’s Church is situated 1 mile northeast of East Usk Lighthouse.

The Uskmouth power stations refers to a series of two coal-fired power stations at the mouth of the River Usk in the south-east of Newport, Wales. The first of the two stations, Uskmouth A power station, was built in the 1940s and demolished in 2002. Uskmouth power stations is situated 3,200 feet north of East Usk Lighthouse.
