Cave of the Patriarchs

The Cave of the Patriarchs or Tomb of the Patriarchs, known to Jews by its Biblical name Cave of Machpelah and to Muslims as the Ibrahami Mosque, or Sanctuary of Ibrahim, is a series of caves situated in the heart of the Old City of Hebron in the West Bank, 30 kilometres south of Jerusalem. Cave of the Patriarchs is situated 3 km northeast of Palestine Polyticnic University (B).

The Old City of Hebron is the historic city centre of Hebron. The Hebron of antiquity is thought by archaeologists to have originally started elsewhere, at Tel Rumeida, which is approximately 200 meters west of today's Old City, and thought to have originally been a Canaanite city. Hebron/Al-Khalil Old Town is situated 2½ km northeast of Palestine Polyticnic University (B).

Qilqis is a Palestinian village located four kilometers south of Hebron and adjacent to the Israeli settlement of Beit Haggai. The village is in the Hebron Governorate in the Southern West Bank.

Beit Hagai, also Hagai, is an Israeli settlement organized as a community settlement located in the southern Hebron Hills in the West Bank. The settlement population was 460 in 2004, according to a classified government document published by the Haaretz newspaper, and lies within the municipal jurisdiction of the Har Hevron Regional Council.
